I just had to say that I really love the scene with the kiss on the beach. That image is so strongly imprinted in my brain that I can't stop thinking about it. The expanse of the sea ("...ripples of water stained by the sky's reflection..."), contrasted with the hints of pain, and then the kiss and laughter and "Narcissa wakes to the taste of salt on her tongue". I'm swooning. That's some top-tier poetic literature right there.

So in short, this is me flinging more kudos at you from my introverted corner of the internet! ♥
